What's important

My parents taught me many things, but I'm especially grateful for two lessons:

1) The world is endlessly fascinating; boredom is a sure sign that you're not paying attention.

2) You can learn to do anything with the right book in your hands.

With those as a starting point, it's not surprising that I've spent so much of my life writing and and helping other people express themselves.

 In 30 years of this work, I've yet to come across a subject that wasn't worth exploring, a process that can't be explained and taught in print, or a life's work that wasn't worth preserving so that others could benefit from it.

What's important is that you find a way to share the things you have done and learned in your life. The goal of our work together is to figure out what's important and express it clearly so that others can benefit.
